Ms. Stracener’s practice is concentrated on complex commercial property insurance and builder’s risk coverage disputes throughout the U.S., primarily in the energy-related sectors. Her experience includes coverage disputes involving property damage and business interruption claims, construction soft costs and delay-related claims, and bad faith claims.

Ms. Stracener represents both domestic and international commercial property insurers and quota-share markets in all aspects of the large loss claims-handling process, beginning with the initial coverage dispute and policy analysis. She believes that diligence and attention to detail are key to achieving the most expedient resolution of each claim—a result which may be best accomplished through litigation, alternative dispute resolution, or more informal settlement communications with the insured
