ATTORNEYS

Ben Lewis practices in the areas of general civil litigation and arbitration, insurance coverage litigation, construction defect litigation, and large loss subrogation. He has successfully represented domestic and foreign insurers across a broad range of cases, from local insurance defense matters to complex coverage disputes. He has defended clients in litigation, mediation, and settlement negotiations in cases involving property damage, construction claims, and personal injury.

Mr. Lewis’s academic path toward his legal career shaped the leadership and skills he applies at CWP for each client. Upon graduating from college, he served as a lobbyist, and managed a political action committee for an agricultural trade association in Washington, D.C. At the University of Mississippi School of Law, he was President of the American Constitution Society, a Moot Court Board member, and a member of the Dean’s Leadership Council. He also studied international law at England’s Downing College, Cambridge University.

In 2018, Mr. Lewis received the distinction of being named a “Rising Star” by the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association.
